LIAM EVANS

Background Check

I’ve been an ‘athlete’ in the conventional sense of the word for my entire life. I grew up playing sports, especially football (soccer), and I carried that passion with me right up through college and into my adult life. I earned a scholarship to play Division 1 football at Northern Kentucky University, and have also represented the Bermuda National Football team at every level of competition. Sport and exercise has impacted my life positively in so many ways, and now it will allow me to impact the lives of others

EPT Mindset

There are many connotations associated with the word ‘athlete’. For me, having the mentality of an athlete means more than physically being one. You don’t have to play sports to be considered an EPT athlete. I prefer to use the term with my clients because to me being an athlete means coming in with a positive mindset, good work ethic, and being committed to reaching your goals. It is because of this that I believe everyone should strive to become an athlete in their life.

Athlete Prep

While I consider my sporting career a successful one, I didn’t quite realise the impact that a well designed strength & conditioning program could have on my athletic performance until I had already arrived at college. From this aspect, I was already behind the moment I arrived on campus my freshman year. It is now my goal to work with young athletes and use my experience to help prepare them for the physical demands of higher level competition.
